About this Website

The International Union's website

www.interunion.org.uk

does not intend to attract a lot of visitors to read about the brilliant ideas proposed by followers of the Union.

The ideas of creating this website were from the first beginning

ˇ       to meet the demand of people who have heard something about the International Union and then explore the Internet for more information;

ˇ       to display for the visitors that the members of the International Union care about serious topics, such as Poverty, Inequalities, Environmental Crisis, Economic Causes of War and Unrest, Economic Inequities, Congestions and Sprawl in Cities, Exclusion from Nature and Society, Financing public budgets without taxes on producers or consumers, and many other items;

ˇ       to ease communication between Georgists around the world.

The IU-Website gives a few lines on the history of the International Union, and it links to websites, magazines, books, reports, papers, declarations, etc. written by its members and supporters.

The website presents the members of theIU as persons seriously working for peace and prosperity to all human beings around the world. They claim that Nature and Society is vital to all human beings and that the values of Nature and Society are Common Properties belonging to all citizens on an equal footing.

The object of the International Union, to achieve and maintain Peace and Prosperity, is consistent with the objects of many other international organisations, but the Georgist ideas propose the economic means without which all other endeavours are in vain!

For the purpose of the best possible use of the IU-website, the web-master has to rely on co-operation with Georgists around the world.

This is therefore also an appeal to al IU-members and supporters:

As soon as you become aware of failures or of outdated or missing information in the IU-Website PLEASE e-mail the correct information to the e-address:

iu@interunion.org.uk

As soon as information about changes to be made in the website are received, the web-master will effectuate the changes immediately, at latest within one week. Information about one of the organizations will need a confirmation from a member of the board of the organization in question.

The frequent updating will provide a living website that it should be worthwhile to visit often.
